If you had a choice on finishing the factory bright silver wheels to any other color and finish, what would you pick?
Consider the car is black that is.

Any thoughts?

You can go for the blacked out look and paint your rims black. Or you can go for gunmetal, like I've done.

Everytime I see the 07 m45 rims i get a little jealous. I'm so tempted to go and by the refinished/fixed ones but don't trust how long they'd hold up and end up being horrified when they start pealing. smh. I'll get a set someday.

Gun-metal is a common color so I would say $75 to $100 per rim.

I just got painted 18's in bronze and came up $100 each just because the color had to be special order.

Since I know nothing about this type of thing, where should I be looking to take them to get this done? May save me some time before I have to go aftermarket

Wheels of America was my first choice but I ended up taking them to a private shop here in IL.
