Reno Trip - 1100 miles, 2.5 days

2 guys from work and I took off for Reno this weekend. On Friday afternoon we loaded up Marie (the Rogue) and after work we left Portland. We got there about 9:30 on Friday night.

Saturday we ran over to Lake Tahoe. The road from Reno to Tahoe was 23 miles with nearly 5000 ft of elevation change - I really wish I had my S2000 for that part. The Rogue was just not as much fun on that part.

Sunday we got up and spend a little time at the Roulette table with "Bandana Man". A very loud young man who in 50 min won about $1500 and lost about $2500, at a $0.50 min. table. After a late breakfast we took off for home.

Overall the Rogue did well. More power is always nice especially when climbing mountains or passing. The ride was comfortable and plenty of room for 3 adults.

I recall feeling exactly the same way (wishing I was in my S) in Colorado and New Mexico on a road trip with our Rogue. Still, the Rogue does really well -- even when loaded down with camping gear and such.
