Ok here is some pictures. Since I moved in I installed hardwood on the top floor include all 3 bedrooms. I installed hardwood on the stair. Painted the entire upper level and stair case. Installed interlocking stones for my driveway and did some landscaping. All bymyself with a help of my wifey and my best and only son.

So here is some before and in action and finished pictures. After hardwood installed before painting.[IMG][/IMG]That is before.[IMG][/IMG]

Front yard part[IMG][/IMG]Half finished front. No lawn yet.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Before [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]After[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I just finished my step down to the backyard and still working on my backyard. Hopefuly it will be down by Monday. More pictures when I am done.

Very well done sir.

Now you can drive right up to your front porch.

Color plans for the inside with the new wood?

Thanks,

The plan was to be able to drive up tot he front porch when we get groceries. I still have so much to do and not much money left. So I guess some will be left for next year. I already bought the hardwood for the main floor. So I will install it maybe September.

Next year I build a little water pond with water fall and fish. My son really like to have one. Also will build an adition for the deck and patio I just built/building.

Lot of things to do.

I'll finish my garage reno soon. So my G can have a good sleep too.

Tariq I would love to get rid of the Furd but my wifey loves it soo much. This is her 3 rd Furd. Had an Escort then an 05 Focus now this 07 Focus. To be honest there is not much wrong with these cars. Never brakes down. Believe me every time winter comes zozo is out with each car and beat the hell out of them. It takes it no issue. Not my wife tho. But that's another story.

I gave up long ago. I went car shopping with her. We went thru all the dealers. Test drove a bunch of cars. No she picked another focus. The good thing she does not like the new style of the focus(08+). So after this she should get something else. Or maybe not. She just told me 2 days ago she was reading somewhere Ford brings 5 small cars from Europe to North America.

Beer and BBQ sounds good tho. We used to do it back in Europe. All my friends got together when somebody needed something to build or just fix up. That's how I learned to do everything around the house.

Totally agree. They were saying there was no market for Ford focus here in north america. It would cost more then the North American Ford Focus.

I guess there is.

Hahahah

Yeah I moved in March and started my reno a week after I moved in. I've been doing it since. It is not new but 5 years old in a new area at the end of the town. The other side of the road there is a farm. The previous owner did not care much to finish the house. So I've got a hell of a good deal out of it. Houses around here going by 60k more then I paid for. I'm sure I can do it for way less and it will look like the way we wanted.

Excellent job! I wish I had the courage and the know-how to tackle a project like that. My main quibble is the style of the house. I don't want the first thing someone arriving at my house to see is the garage. Just my taste or lack therof. If it works for you, fantastic!

That's why I'll make my garage look awesome(fingers crossed). Once I'll get there. I already put the drywall up just have to sand it down and paint it. I want to stain the concrete floor and should be good.

hhehehe

I understand what you are saying tho. My wife was saying it too at first. Now she loves it.

Believe me all these DIY's are simple. The interlocking stone was the first time for me. All you have to think how much you can save. It took me 2 weekends to finish it. Probably a pro would be down lot faster. And most likely my wallett would be lot lighter now.

Ok...at least we know you weren't lying when you said you were too busy to post for a bit!

Great job on the floors, I did my bedroom and main floor in hardwood too. What a pain in the azz!!

The landscaping looks great Zozo and coming along nicely. I still have sooo much to do too.

I suck at painting and have no patience to do it. But I'm tired of looking at white walls...aarrrgghh!

Good job Zozo!
