They aren't really the same company, but they have formed an alliance. They target different markets and Renault is on the French stock market while Nissan is in Japan and USA. They share the same CEO... Carlos Ghosn. He's the one who came up with the brilliant idea of remaking the GT-R and turned both Renault and Nissan from near bankrupt companies to highly profitable companies. So i'd say its quite an "alliance" since they can share the same CEO.Rmuth25 wrote:doesnt nissan own renault?
They have an alliance. According to wikipedia, Renault owns roughly 44% of the shares of Nissan, and Nissan owns 15% of Renault. So it's almost the other way around.Rmuth25 wrote:doesnt nissan own renault?
IDk what Cali was trying to imply, but one thing's for sure... it sure does have that Nissan "4x4" factory look.... why can't they freakin drop their coupes another inch or so.... the G comes stock from the factory at a good height, and can be dropped a bit more for one's tastes..... damn the factory 4x4 look!marlin29311 wrote:I'm not really seeing what's up here...
Cali, what were you trying to say?
Yes the nissan badge in the background was the hint as to why this car is interesting on the Altima forum. As Longbeach pointed out - both cars share the Nissan D platform.Colton92 wrote:it might be nissan badge in background
Since these cars also share the D platform with the Murano - I wonder if that has anything to do with the "4x4" look.rjdmmfl1 wrote:
