I have heard one on a VW Golf before and it's one of the most unique sounding exhausts I have ever heard in my life. What's your take on it?

How do you think it'll sound on a ka??

$235 for JUST a muffler? They're on crack.

We tested literally PILES of mufflers for the BRM 240SX projects, and none flowed as well as the one we wound up deciding on. Which, incidentally, costs less than half of what that one does.

I'm sure it's good quality, but keep in mind it was engineered for German cars, and replacing JUST the muffler on any car is silly.

yea, unless your going to replace all of the pipes, its retarded. i would reccomend going with a full cat-back exhaust rather than a weld on muffler. cough::BRM::cough

haha no i plan to definitely go w/ a full catback, possibly custom. But I AM currently leaning towards the BRM system. Have you ever heard the tone of a remus exhaust system? It's soooo nice.

btw, AZhitman, is your s13 exhaust line up and running again?

Speak of the devil... there was a thread on remus mufflers on zilvia...

remus is the oem for a bunch of european car-makers, the ones worth mentioning being porche and ferrari. The sound clips that I've heard from these mufflers have been pretty amazing. I wouldn't pay $250 for a muffler though. It's like paying an extra $200 for a really nice sound, which I could care less about.

LOL - I hav heard the Remus on an older BMW. Definitely a SWEET sound, very memorable, but that was an inline engine (big difference in sound anyway).

S13 production is backed up approx. 2 weeks, and I have several customers who are already "in line" for a system, but those should go by quickly. :)

I'll finally be able to sleep once those get shipped.

just curious does anybody feel like trying to describe the sound of a remus? i've heard ferrari's and such on mischief destroy they sound like a pissed of pack of hornets. but its a sound i like. and 215 is crazy for a muffler not really fond of that billet looking tip that brm setup is really nice well waht i've read and the fact they can customize the piping and muffler to your needs. wished they would of had it out before i bought my apexi gt but oh well i still love my exhaust

Dude screw that man. 200 just for the muffler? You can get GP Sports spec D cat backs for 350 shipped if you look hard enough seriously. Between the sound of the remus and the spec d, dude spec d would get my vote in a heartbeat.
