So, my car was rejected inspection because of tint, I searched the forums and got many threads about removing window tint. I had a new bottle of "tint off", and after reading some of these threads I worried I wouldn't be able to take to tint off. Most of you suggested people to take it to a pro. Well, I got my tint off in no more than 10 minutes, no joke. What's the big deal? My tint looked real nice, no air bubbles, and I didnt even need the tint off. I just got my box cutter blade, cut a little corner so I had something to pull, and it came off like tape. The tint that is left is purpleish on my back windows so I might remove that too, I'll try to get a picture but I dont have a digi cam so it will take a while. I only removed the side windows, but the back windows shouldnt be more difficult because of the defrost lines. I didn't have to use a blade on my side windows, I just pulled the tint off with my hands. What's the story? Why was it so easy?

How long was your tint on there? Try taking tint off that's been on for five or six years and comes off in little pieces.
