IIRC, I did it by just pulling up starting at the bottom of the windshield since my fender was off and kept going backwards, but I'd recommend starting from the back where it's less conspicuous if things don't start off the right way.
Also, hopefully you guys don't have bad corrosion issues in your area, you might be looking at new clips/trim.

I'll look for any pictures I might have taken.

Could you just trim the wrap to size then tuck it under the trim like you'll have to do at the front & rear glass?

I could but if it isn't sealed properly wont the chances of it coming off increase? This will be my 1st attempt at wrapping anything.

Bringing this back to the top. Is it worth it to wrap the roof for preventative measures? My paint isn't peeling but I'm a little concerned about it eventually flaking off since I no longer have a garage to park in...

I had my roof wrapped a couple years ago because I like the look. Theoretically, it should protect the paint as it is not exposed to the elements. I will be having my side mirrors done in black soon as they are fading (thx Nissan).

The chrome trim was removed with no issue so the wrap would be seamless.
Good luck with install! I helped the guy with mine and it was a lil tricky.
