Removing the Speed Governor

hey wad pplz im new here im trying to find out how to Remove the Speed Governor on my 89 sohc 240sx i hit 115 all the time but after that it bang out so i be losing so much races so could yall plz tell me how i could get pass the Governor i been hearing to cut some wires on the transmission but i don't know so plz tell me what i can do iiight thxs

You can cut the spd sensor wire going into your ECU and hook it up to a switch so when you want it to work it does..

I think you still need to remove the 5th gear sensor for rev limiter

I'm not sure how I feel about letting Nissanboy in on how to defeat his limiter...racing his 89 with XXXk miles doing 115 plus on public roads/hwy sounds a little sketchy to me. BE CAREFUL! Good luck with the limiter btw.

using a gen 2 apexi safc, with the speed limiterremoved wiring setup works a treat too and you get an awesome little blue screen

You can remove the rev limiter with SAFC II?I asked someone and they said no....
