So, I was looking under the hood on my 99 maxima GXE and decided that before I dive in and start breaking things, I was wondering if anyone had a link on how to remove the radiator? Is this a monumental task, or is it just remove the tubing and a few bolts? Also, once the old one is removed, I think I saw somewhere that someone mentioned the radiator support might be destroyed in the process...does this mean that in addition to the new radiator I have lying around, I'll also need to replace the support as well? Anyway, any and all help is greatly appreciated! TIA!

not a big deal at all.

with cold engine-

remove rad cap, remove splash shields [under engine], remove transmission lines from rad.

remove fans [piece of plastic snaps out, youll see], remove lower hose [catch coolant], remove upper hose, unbolt upper rad brackets, pull rad up and out.

bottom rubber mounts stick on old rad, pop em off and put them in place on the rad support.

a rusting lower rad support shouldnt interfere with replacement.
