PS - It doesn't actually matter which side of your switch the diode is on, only that the cathode on the diode faces in the same direction as the diodes in the Combo Switch.

Nissan wiring schematics are so awful. Color codes and pinouts seem to be made as obscure and cryptic as possible. This post helps a lot.

It would have been easier to use the '04 as the example, since the older diagrams have the wire colors and connector silhouettes right on the diagram sheet. However, with the volume of control wiring on the newer stuff (and with Nissan changing harness subcontractors like changing daily diapers), I can understand why they quit doing that. So I figured using the later model would give people a better grasp of how to use the WD's. From your response, I gather it worked. Glad you liked it!
