Hello my NICO family.
I have a 2010 a/c and was wondering how to remove the grille. I know its a different process than the 08-09 since its a larger one-piece grille. I also know there are clips holding it but don't know where. Any help would be appreciated.

P.s. I'm trying to do this without having to remove the bumper. Thanks guys

Are you trying to remove the whole grille? Or just the chrome parts surrounding it? I removed the chrome parts/nissan symbol and painted them black. If that's the thing you are trying to do you can just take the chrome peices off by sticking a screwdriver (or something else that you can stick in there, i just used this) in between and twisting to seperate the peices from the clips. Hope this helped, if not oh well lol

there's approximately 3 clips on inside of the grille (if im not mistaken) that hold it in place. They're positioned in a triangular manner.

Grille removal for first-timers: 15-20 min (5-8min if done b4)

Not hard at all. its all basically prying off several plastic bolts with leverage.

Tools:
2 medium-sized flathead screwdriver
1 small-sized flathead screwdriver (the screwdriver that comes with eyeglass repair kits worked great)

1) pop da hood

2) TAKE NOTE
-there are 2 areas where bolts need to be removed (see pic below):

Image
*about 7 are on top of the grille (mayb 8; i forgot)
*6 are inside the grille
-to get to the inside bolts, one must first remove top bolts!

3) START WITH BOLTS ON TOP
-with both medium flatheads, take out the bolts by prying them out with leverage (kinda like prying a door open). Using 2 screwdrivers facilitated this

(see below...i copy/pasted in one more of my hands to show)

-Once top bolts are removed, 1ST PHASE COMPLETE.
-grille will start to feel like it'll come off/flexible bc you took off mad bolts. use this to your advantage to get to inside bolts. DONT BE AFRAID TO
GENTLY BEND GRILLE.

4) NOW TAKE OFF INSIDE BOLTS/LATCHES

-start with the CORNER BOLTS/LATCHES of the right or left (doesnt matter)
-for less confusion, start with the right.
-take one medium flathead screwdriver and pry this bolt/latch out. Leverage helps (these corner ones are the hardest)
-once its off, the rest are easier to come out.

below are pics of corner bolt/latch removal:

5) take off middle bolt/latch with small flathead by placing it under the bolt/latch. once screwdriver is under, apply pressure towards you/towardsthe sky (dont know how else to describe it?) and it should come off. kinda like pressing a small button; much easier than that corner bolt/latch

6) NOW take off bottom bolt/latch. Use same method as step 5

7) Repeat 4-6 with left side of grille

8) Once Steps 4-7 are complete, GRILLE WILL COME OFF!
