That's what I did.pcpower wrote:I'm not sure myself, hopefully someone will have the answer for u.
For future purchases though, I always tell the dealer to remove / not include any dealer logos, license plates, stickers, etc. before I purchase the car.
I did that, and they still put their badges on my car. The sticker was as big as the "LTIM" part of ALTIMA, and it was stuck pretty good. I was able to pull up a corner of the sticker with my fingernail and peel it off. WD40 took care of the residue, and followed it up with some wax.pcpower wrote:For future purchases though, I always tell the dealer to remove / not include any dealer logos, license plates, stickers, etc. before I purchase the car.
Yea, it was something I was going to do, but in my utter joy of buying the car I completely forgot.pcpower wrote:I'm not sure myself, hopefully someone will have the answer for u.

already..? orange peel comes from the painting process itself. I cant even remember if there is a way to get rid of it without re-painting. my Z had no orange peel after its paint job a few years back, but a LOT of cars have it from the factory, I know my silverado did.. the Z1000 did not though lol can't figure out why bike manu's spend more time making their paint nice than the car companies.. two years no rock chips or anything, paint still looked like it did the day I bought it on the bike *shrug* I doubt the altima will be that luckyLongBeachCoupe wrote:is that a little orange peel already?
Yep. I noticed it after I did a clay bar treatment and a three step wax to help hid the ridiculous amount of swirlmarks/micromarring i had on my car. You cant really see the swirls now except in really direct sunlight, and the camera shows that orange peel much more clearly then what you see with the naked eye.LongBeachCoupe wrote:is that a little orange peel already?
Watersanding it lightly is the only way to smooth out the orange peel.racingtiger03 wrote:already..? orange peel comes from the painting process itself. I cant even remember if there is a way to get rid of it without re-painting.
