I know its possible to remove the plastic badges of the car, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the dealership sticker things.

You know the things that are normally in white. Almost like a sticker. I am assuming it can be done, since my car was dealer traded and I'm positive the dealership that it was originally from had their own little sticker on the car. I hate mine so much because its almost as big as the altima badge itself.

Thanks alot

I'm not sure myself, hopefully someone will have the answer for u.

For future purchases though, I always tell the dealer to remove / not include any dealer logos, license plates, stickers, etc. before I purchase the car.

I did that, and they still put their badges on my car. The sticker was as big as the "LTIM" part of ALTIMA, and it was stuck pretty good. I was able to pull up a corner of the sticker with my fingernail and peel it off. WD40 took care of the residue, and followed it up with some wax.

Yea, it was something I was going to do, but in my utter joy of buying the car I completely forgot.

at least they ddint sneak in some nice "free" pin stripes along with the dealer stickers in "final prep" before pick-up -.- which reminds me i need to get that remaining glue off today.. O_Ofor the OP, its summertime.. just let it sit out in the sun in the middle of the day for an hour or so, then take your fingernail or a credit card to it and see if you can get it up. Then just slowly peel and fo as the other fellow mentioned. take some wd40 on a rag and wipe it down, then wash that section and wax where the wd40 was. i had to peel off not one big sticker but a bunch of individual letters spelling out mountain view nissan Chattanooga, TN.. !$#@% my hand hurt by the time i picked them all off

Got it!. Pretty much just heated it up a bit with a hair dryer, then i was able to just peel it off with my finger nails. I used some nail polish remover (lightly) to remove the excess adhesive and also a wet towel. Took a little bit since most of the letters were separate sickers.

Oh yea, and I did a little three step wax after it was off. Actually did step 1 (cleaner) twice, then followed up with sealer/glaze and then the wax.

I told the dealer I didn't want that on my car and they obliged.

I'm thinking of going the next step, and taking off the factory badges. Looking at pics where others have done it, I have to say it looks nice.

already..? orange peel comes from the painting process itself. I cant even remember if there is a way to get rid of it without re-painting. my Z had no orange peel after its paint job a few years back, but a LOT of cars have it from the factory, I know my silverado did.. the Z1000 did not though lol can't figure out why bike manu's spend more time making their paint nice than the car companies.. two years no rock chips or anything, paint still looked like it did the day I bought it on the bike *shrug* I doubt the altima will be that lucky

Yep. I noticed it after I did a clay bar treatment and a three step wax to help hid the ridiculous amount of swirlmarks/micromarring i had on my car. You cant really see the swirls now except in really direct sunlight, and the camera shows that orange peel much more clearly then what you see with the naked eye.

He's like "you don't wanna advertise for us?" Hell no son, when you pay me I'll plaster your billboard over my nekkid *** but I ain't doing no free advertising for you thieves

Watersanding it lightly is the only way to smooth out the orange peel.
