removing the alternator

i removed the belt the wires in the back im taking off the pivot bolt and the clip at the top is there something that i have to remove to be able to slide the alternator out or does anybody know where i can find a diagram im having a lot of trouble with it and not such a good day as well any help will be appreciated thxs

there is a really long bolt that connects it to a bracket. Pull that out and make sure you removed the 2 wires connecting the the back of the alternator(towards the trunk side). you might have to wiggle it a little to slide it out (this is a 240 alternator thought they might be similar)

Agreed, I whacked mine with a rubber mallet to knock it loose.
