Removing Sunroof and/or carpet

Anyone has dissasembled or removed the sunroof on the S14?

When i have it all the way open, it starts to rattle in the back i ut my hand (since i don't have a headliner anymore) and there is sponge. So i don't know where it rattles.

Also how do you take out the carpet?, do i need to take out the entire dash? i already don't have seats, center console, stereo stuff.

I'm going to replace the carpet and the headliner cuz they are in a really bad shape.

Nobody has ever ripped apart the interior of their car???
