What's up guys? I'm the proud new owner of a Black/black '06 M35 (Advanced Tech) with 55k miles (and a 3 year extended warranty from Infiniti...not bad for a 6 year old car!)

Anyhoo, on an otherwise unblemished and babied car, there are these spots on the wood trim right near the volume knob. They don't just "rub off" (even using my fingernail lightly doesn't get rid of them), so I'm thinking I need something to actually try to clean the wood here. Any suggestions? I did a search and saw that Murphy's Oil Soap is sometimes used or furniture spray to clean the trim, but this seems to require something more. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!

Can't see the picture.

As long as they are not wear spots I would just use some dish soap and maybe a very soft toothbrush.

Lol,I went through so much to post that "pic."

I must admit I haven't tried anything bit the old spitshine (just got the car a few days ago) but just wanted to make sure I don't destroy my genuine wood trim. :) I'll give your suggestion a shot (and will feel stupid if it was that simple).

Thanks!!
