Removing Side mirror covers?

I'm going to be wrapping my side mirrors with some matte black vinyl and I'm wondering if the painted part on the mirror just pops off or what. It would be a huge pita to wrap them while they are on the car.

Be carefull when pushing the clips and pulling them off. The clips WILL break.

lol I like, and appreciate the extra calories burned to reprimand me for not using the search and then find the correct topic and link it for me on top of providing the simple answer/solution. Pick one or the other to avoid coming off like a huge blowhard ;)

lol no worries and same here, it's nice to be able to bust balls without a flame war. I'll try and pop them off tonight or in a few days when the vinyl comes in.
