Removing shift knob?

Does anyone know how to remove the shift knob in a altima coupe cvt?

i'm trying to remove the whole center concole so i can get to my cupholders so i can put LEDs in them. but the DIY Tutorial is for a MT and I have a CVT. i googled it and nothing comes up.

i can get the part around it up, but can not remove it because of the shift knob being in the way. how can i remove it?

Pull really hard down on the chrome trim piece n te bottom and then pull out the retaining pin and the knob will pull upwards....
