removing shift knob for cvt

Ooo Oooo I know this one!

If you just wanna change the knob... PULL DOWN HARD on the chrome piece around it... It will drop, then theres a U shaped paperclip thing holding the knob on, just ease it off the bottom and you are done!

Im 99% sure about it, not 100%, it was like a yr ago when I took mine off to do my LED interior.

I have CVT. Can I still change it ? Well ! I'm thinking to move my start button to shift knob like SLR one. It may be a crazy idea but what you guys think lol

actually, you know the little rubber trim pieces that cover the internals, well they fell down for the drive position and my local a** hole dealer doesnt want to fix it so i have to....

and ikinda want to know if the manual transmission shift boot would fit on there.
