Removing Reclining Rear Seats

Hello all I'm new here. I just bought an 08 M45 with 75000 miles. Carpet is in pretty good shape but color a bit washed out, floor mats have been shampooed far too many times. Driver seat has notable wear. Took it to my usual upholstery guy for an estimate to catch everything back up. He said he had never seen power recline rear seats before so I kinda wondered if he may not be able to do the carpet kit. Any idea how difficult or delicate it may be to remove rear seats?
