OK...I removed the rear spoiler today and plugged the holes (untill i get them shaved) and I cant get the stick pad **** off of my paint...does anyone know how to get this off...also there is an outline of where the seal laid down on the trunk in between the spoiler and the trunk. How do i get that off too?

Wil, heat it up with a hairdryer, then rub it off with your fingers. The remaining adhesive will come off with a little solvent.

Try using mineral spirits on the outline. It won't do anything to the paint, but it will strip the wax off the car. so when your done wash and wax the parts that you used the mineral spirits on. I'm using it to remove the glue from the pinstripes and it works pretty good. You just have to rub it alittle then scrape the crap off with your finger nail

i bought these little plugs from autozone..it comes in a pack of like 12....too bad you only need 4. they are black so if you dont have a black car it kinda sucks but they fit firm as hell...you have to shove them in really hard. i tested them and no leaks...but i have to get the holes shaved asap im picky

Nah, body filler tends to sink and crack over time so im having the holes welded and the entire back trunk lid repainted (cause i got egged) then since my bumper is faded, im getting it repainted as well. A buddy of mine that works in a body shop is doin it all for $175. Which is a damn good price considering 2 other places qouted me 300.

My weld job on the spoiler and 3rd brake light holes was free. Promised the guy some money, left for the ATM and kept driving. He only wanted $100 anyway.
