Removing rear bumper?

Does anyone know how to remove the rear bumper off of a 90 hatchback. their seems to be hidden bolts in the middle of the bumper and I can't find them. only bolts I could find were the ones on the sides the weird metal stap thing underneath and it still doesnt want to come off.

Not sure about the hatch but on the coupe if you take off the trim peice under the taillights it exposes those bolts. Maybe on the hatch they're under the center trim peice for the taillights? I'm not sure tho, hopefully someone else will chime in.

get a factory sevice manual cant remember where to get it do a searche for it.

slydin'240 is right- it's under the trim piece. You need to remove that panel under the tail lights and feel for the bolts. There's around 6 or 7 of them.
