Removing radio/ac controls?

ok i searched and found a how to on removing it but they were also removing the ac screen above the clock. Well i just wanted to know if i have remove all of that stuff just to remove the radio/ac unit, its been acting weird lately like turning on aotomaticaly and the buttons or lights on the unit dont work im guessing there is a loose conection or something back there, at first i thought it was a fuse but it will start working again sometimes it just needs a little tap on the side but today its been stuck on ac full blast and the buttons dont work so cant turn it off, any help please.

Yes you have to remove all that stuff to take out the radio/ac.

This is a well known problem with 03-04 G35. You have to either repair or replace your unit... both are very costly.

I recommend replacing it with a after market double din. The problem with this is you have to buy a new dash trim and Ac controller... which is even more costly.

I just upgraded my head unit, so I have a 2004 G35 head unit for sale. Looking to get $150 for it.
