Rear glass, and both quarter windows have bubbly purple tint.Heard about hairdryers and elbow grease to remove. But is there some super easier way to remove?Would like to have rear darkened and sides match OE tint, but back flaking off and doesn't want to budge.

A little late, but the real trick is having a handheld steamer. :-) Steam the tint until it melts the glue and then pull it off. Did my entire Q in 20 minutes.

I agree with ph34r. I had to remove the drive and passenger side fronnt window and the rear window tint on my Q. I used a steamer and the job was so much easier and cleaner than the razor blade method. The other concern is not damaging the rear window defroster strips. If you use a steamer you do not have to worry about damaging the strips.
