well, now i'm stuck trying to get the propeller shaft off the transmission. i have been using a 18" snap-on breaker bar and none of the bolts have even budged a bit. i'm trying to disconnect where the end of the transmission and the propeller shaft meet and are connected by 6 19mm bolts. this IS the correct place to disconnect right? and please don't suggest air tools cause i have none.

edit: ok i just went back out and looked over the drive line again and saw that the second propeller shaft bolts are much smaller. would it be better to drop the bearing and disconnect the 2 shafts?

Trying to undo the big bolts at the transmission is an exercise in futility. Unbolt the bearing mount where the two pieces connect, then unbolt the assembly from the differential and let it drop down. At that point you can just slide it out of the transmission.

well, i actually got them. used my breaker bar and them hooked a 1" wrench on and bam instant 2.5' breaker bar.

question though. if i had disconnected the bearing and from the differential the propeller shaft would still have been connected to the trans. wouldn't it?
