i needed some advice on how to go about removing the ac and power steering from my ka24e. i dont know if it is just as easy as removing the belts and unbolting the parts. also does anyone know just exactly how much more power this frees up?

it's just that easy. drain the power steering and have the freon removed. remove belts and parts. viola.

i don't have any dyno proof of power gains, but the butt dyno said that the engine was happier on top end and seemed to rev smoother and faster. before you start yanking stuff out of your engine bay, remove your power steering and a/c belts and drive it around for a day. this will give you an idea of what it will be like.

IF your looking for a more detailed information on how to remove the A/C then I would recommend searching for it on these forums. There was a huge writup about it. I helped to contribute to that write up so you know the info is good :P
