Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove pinstriping? It came pre-installed on my 1998 Pathfinder and it's just getting ugly to look at. Missing in places, lots of dirt under it, etc.

I figure it's better to remove it and give the areas where it was a good cleaning rather than let it continue to be ugly.

Use a hair dryer to heat it up a bit and remove it with your fingernail. When done you can use some WD-40 and a terry cloth rag to remove the remaining glue.

Realize that after 12 years of having a pinstripe the paint beneath it will be darker.
