why don't you bring it to a shop to have it taken off? It'll save you some time and headache.

are your shocks blown? if they are, and youre trashing them(like in my case), get an impact, or use a buddies, and turn the air compressor up to about 110, 120. and spin it off, you wont need vice grips or anything. thats what i did. but I would only do that if I were trashing them, I think it cross threaded mine. also, Ive seen people use vice grips, and a wrench, but the grips tend to slip from what ive seen, messing up the top of the shaft. hope this helped.

i have taken my suspension apart so many times...just get some craftsman vice grips...get tham at tight as possible then get a deep socket, i think it is 14 mm to be exact, and unscrew it.....worke for me everytime. If that doesn't work go to a shop and they can do it easy with air tools, they shouldn't charge (but i would give them a tip for helping you out) -Hope that helped
