well since im currently in the process ill tell ya what ive taken off so far. Ive removed the valve cover, cams and the cam towers, take the chain off of the cam sprockets, get an allen wrench that fits the head bolts and have fun getting them off. They take a little bit of effort but you should be able to get them out with a little work.. thats to about where i am...if i forgot anything someone let me know but im pretty sure thats about it....good luck

instead of an allen wrench go to an auto parts store to get hex attachments. i dont know the real name for them but they go onto a socket wrench and have a hex key on the end. this way u will be able to torque down the head right when u put it back on. get a factory service manual too. it gives u the torque sequences and specs. if u dont follow it u can warp the head or snap a bolt (not good).

Removing head bolts in the proper order and in a stepped sequence is as important as the torquing part. The main way to go about doing cams or a head is to start in the middle and work your way to the outside

6 4 2 1 3 5 7 is an example of a torque sequence. And step the tightening/loosening in a gradual rate, like 1 turn per bolt for loosening or 25 ft lbs the 50 then 75 for a final of 100 ft lbs for the actual seating/torquing process.

I hope that makes sense, its been a long day.

radiator, tc cover, valve cover, belts, intake pipe, intake manifold, header. that should do it. be sure to use new gaskets for the intake and header. oh yeah don't forget the timing chain. be sure to check the loose side guide and see if it needs to be replaced. go ahead and replace the timing chain and oil seals. you will need an fsm, they do come in handy. also go ahead and check the belts for wear and it might be a good idea to replace the waterpump and thermostat, unless you okan on having the car apart again sometime soon. any other
