Removing music from 08 Music Box

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I am in the process of selling my 2008 EX35. I need to (if possible) remove the music I installed on the Music Box. Does anyone know if this can be done.
If I cannot transfer the music can I erase the music contents? I would appreciate any ideas.

I have thought of this as well, I almost sold my '08. I know you can delete or erase, it is somewhere in the music box menu section. Not sure if you can transfer, there must be a way, perhaps through the SD card slot. I will look at mine today and go through the manual. If I come across anything I will let you know.

Here is what I found. In the manual, pg. 4-57 is the description of the functions of the music box. There is no mention about transferring music. It does however mention, that if the hard drive does need replacement due to a malfunction that all data will be erased. I was thinking that if you bought another Infiniti perhaps they could just move the hard drive into the new car if was similiar. I think the 08 is a 9.3 gig, the newer models may be larger.
You can delete the music, I am sure if you traded in or sold vehicle, they would want to be able to start with a clean hard drive. Pictures below:

You wouldn't want to transfer the hard drive from an older EX to a newer one because it contains all the navigation system data (maps, etc.) plus maybe other computer data I'm not aware of, and you'd end up with an out-of-date nav system and you'd have to pay for the latest version.

You can delete anything you copied to the Music Box but I assume there's no ability to transfer to another media because presumably you have the CDs that you ripped to the Music Box, unless you borrowed them.

Thanks to everybody who responded. I'll just erase music from the Music box and used CD's to restore music in my new car
