Funny; I've always called them mud flaps too, but just in spite though. That was the first thing I did was removed the splash guards, and I think it made the car look better. I'll post pictures later when I'm infront of a computer that I can get to photobucket on.

hear you go; I remembered my password so I did not have to go to a differentcomputer after all. No these pictures were not taken by a camera phone, I'm justbad with a camera. I had no problems in the removal three screw or clips (I do remember) per flap.

We didn't take off my splash guards. We took off the cheap a** vinyl stickers.

Ya I thought that's what he meant, that was the only "guard" I thought of at the time.

Splash guards kind of give the A/C a ground FX look. Looks better with em' IMO.

thanks man...it does look a bit more sleek. I'm sure it'll look even better once I get my 20's and eibach kit...

protection yes, that is why I havent taken them off yet...but ground effects? I think the splash guards throw off the "sleekness" of the car. it doesnt flow well.its like having side skirts without a front lip and back bumper...
