Okay,I've heard from many people that removing the studs is a pain in the a$$. Any of you Nissan guru's know of a trick on getting them out? I have a set of headers to install and was going to do them myself.

Thanks!

JUST TAKE THE BOLTS OFF- AND HOPE AND PRAY THE STUDS EITHER COME OUT WITH THE NUT OR STAY IN..

IF THE STUD COMES OUT WITH NUT ON END YOU CAN STILL USE IT JUST MORE OF A BOLT NOW :)

GO FOR IT!

You just have to twist them and hope they don't break.I always take the studs out and replace them with stainless steel bolts and high temp antiseize. It works great and they won't lock up, even years later.

If the nut comes off and you want the stud out, put 2 nuts on the stud and lock them against each other tightly...then turn the bottom one (or top if you can't get to the bottom one) to unscrew the stud.

tighten two nuts togethor on the studs and then unscrew them after applying a liberal amount of penetrating oil. Then get the later model studs which are heavier.
