Hey Guys, I've got a 92 hb 4x4 that has a motor that is destroyed (the girl who had it before ran it out of water). So... I found another ka24e motor that I'd like to put in, but I'm having a nightmare time removing the engine that's in it...

Do I have to pull engine transmission together, remove the oil pan, remove the front driveline/crossmember?

Please help, my wife likes the truck, but hates the 2 ton paperweight in our driveway

For 4x4 its easier to pull just the motor.

Just start noting where stuff goes and take off the intake bits, harness, vacuum lines, ground wires, then remove the trans bolts and the motor mounts and spring it on out.

I'd freshen up the new motor and replace all the vacuum lines, rear main seal and what not before throwing it in.
