You will need to recover your freon before disconnecting A/C lines. Venting freon into the atmosphere is VERY illegal and also harmful to the ozone layer. I would recommend labelling every wiring connection you disconnect with masking tape and a sharpie wiht the name of where it goes(TPS, MAF) so you know where they go. Just label everything and go to town. Which RB are you installing and where do you live?

It's not that hard to take it out. Just remember to get the slave cylinder line, alternator ground, & heater hoses. Take your time.

I recommend getting a box of ziploc bags and using a different one to hold the hardware for each component that you remove (label the bags w/ a Sharpie). I do that when I pull the motor on my Z and it makes re-assembly much easier.

First off dont take this the wronge way. Have you done any of this before? Reason with these kinds of questions to remove the Ka are you sure you should try to install an RB. I am not trying to turn you away from doing it but these boards and install write ups can only help so much. If you dont have much experiance with engine removal/install you may run into allot of trouble. Just adding my thoughts. But anyway like others said removing the KA is easy and the little pointers the other guys are giving is great advice so far so good luck. If you have any specific questions I like some others will try to help.

my friends know what they are doing, i am just trying to learn as much as possible. you gotta start somwhere, and i dont have the money to practice an sr swap before i try the rb swap, so my plan is to just take way longer than normal to complete it :)

Just take your time and DONT RUSH, It will be done when it is done. The worst thing you can do is try to rush because then you start cutting corners. Just like Hashiriya said there are some of us that would be happy to help, but we can only do so much for you.
