When I first put these on the were held on by clips and double sided tape...Now, I'm wanting to get my car repainted OEM blue emerald and I wish to uninstall them so I'll have to pay less $$.

What would be the best way to take them off?? Not worried about the reinstall since I have 3M double sided tape already. Automotive strength.
I was thinking of using a heat gun to soften up the glue and then removing them. Anyone got a better idea?

heat gun will probably loosen it up. just be careful about it. I've killed things with a heat gun before.

Make sure you don't melt the rain visors if you use a heat gun. A hair dryer may work as well..

drip some goo gone along the top of the adhesive and let it penetrate for an hour or so before you start with the blow dryer. Make sure you don't pull the visor too hard in any direction, work a razor blade or sharp scraper carefully between the visor and adhesive. Best of luck!
