Ok so I began painting my dash many moons ago and I still haven't been able to complete it because I don't know how to get a couple of pieces off. It's mind boggeling but I am hoping that someone here could give me some details on removing them. I would love you for it!

Here are pictures of the pieces I would like to remove.

**The trim pieces on the steering wheel for volume, cruise control and all that good stuff..

**The trim around the tachometers. I am not sure if it just pops off like other pieces but I can't figure it out..

**These pieces are impossible to remove I swear! lol

**I figured out how to take off the trim around the shifter but is it possible to remove the piece thats on the shifter.?

Anyways thanks in advanced for all your help.

I actually like the carbon fiber look. I'd love to get the steering wheels to match the dash and the armrests. If I could get the fan controls to look carbon fiber, it will be complete.

Steering Wheel:You have to take the airbag out of the wheel. The screws for the pieces are on the backside of the plastic piece. You may just want to take the wheel off to make it easier to get the pieces off. It's a tight fit to get a tool into the screws. And make sure to disconnect the battery before you touch the airbag.

The trim around the gauges:It will not just pop off. You will have to take the whole gauge cluster out of the car. The rings are just painted on, so you'll have to tape everything to prvent overspray.

Shifter:No idea. Have to check in the service manual.

Other dash parts:No idea. Have to check in the SM. Bulldog has managed it though, so he may have a good idea.

My auto shifter has faded from my palm being on it, looks like crap now. I would like to paint it black.
