Removing inside hatch panel

I am going to install a back-up camera and want to remove the lower inside hatch panel. I pulled out the 4 plugs and removed the hand hold insert, however the panel did not "fall" out as I expected. What is holding it?

Give it a good yank where the handle insert was; it'll pull down, trust me!
