i recently replaced mine, and mine were a pain to deal with. i had to remove the fuel rail so i could get a better grip on them. i had to push up from the bottom and twist at the same time to breat the o-ring seal. ended up breaking the ceramic tip off one. after that i just put a blunt object against the injector bottom and whacked it. i got new replacements soon afterwards.
the key is finding the right o-rings. this i recommend the dealer for. i tried autozone and other crappy parts store rings and they all failed. so go the dealer and get theres.
other advice. test the fuel rail after everything is installed to make sure there are no leaks. i had to adjust the rings several times to get good seals. the way i tested is totally unsafe and is presented here for your entertainment. i was trying out for a darwin award. procedure: install injectors in rail reconnect all fuel lines, fuses etc. turn key to on position while allowing leaky rail to spit gas in the direction of the battery. repaet as neccesary.
just my experience. your milage may vary.
