Definitely not like my old Bosch connectors - simple wire removal and that's it.

I'm afraid I don't have quite the eyesight to determine if there are any levers/pressure points/tricks to removing the connector from the injector or if I just pull if off.

I have ohmed mine and have 2 completely dead and one around 50. I'm in Atlanta same as Dennis, so I suspect I'll be replacing injectors on my 85K Q and want to see if they are the old or new style, and want to test at the injector.

Thanks,

Brad

you have the later style. on the connector there is a tab you press down. Its like a tiny version of the main injector harness that you took off to ohm the injectors.

Actually, I had to lift two tabs (one on each side of the connector to be able to pull the connector out of the harness connector. I DO se that I have beige injector tops. This car was originally sold 10/93

I got it off - just gave the tab a bit more muscle and it "clicked" like it was stuck when it opened.

My injectors have a total of 4 locating ribs - one on each side and two on the bottom. I thought this was the old style injector - darn - now I have to try and find the post showing new vs old...should be a sticky at this point!

the old style have the square connectors with the metal clip that holds the harness on. The new style have the roundish connectors that have a push tab to hold them on.
