Removing HVAC out of S13

Trying to figure out how to remove the HVAC out of an S13, but I don't know how to remove the cable coming out of the back.

I could either try to yank out the hook in the plastic swivel area or try to remove the entire plastic piece that it hooks into itself.



I read the FSM and it was no help either.

Just pull the little metal retainer up and you can remove the cable.

1. Pull back plastic insulation on the cable.

2. Remove metal clip shown in your third picture.

3. Pull up on cable and it should come right out.
