Has anyone done this? What should I look out for? If anyone has or has seen pictures with them out or being taken out please link me. Thanks

Removing the seats is a really simple process and requires no more than five minutes per seat. You just remove any trim pieces that cover the four mounting bolts (two per seat rail). Just remove the four bolts, lean the seat back onto the rear seat and check for and unplug any wiring harnesses that go to the seat. Then you can simply lift the seat out of the vehicle, they weigh probably about 15-20 lbs. per seat. It's really easy to do.

I remember hearing something about the air bag controller being under there and you have to disconnect the battery so it doesn't deploy. Is this totally wrong?

My airbag light is flashing already and i cant fix that, so I'm not concerned about that. But would it deploy when the vehicle is stopped? Seems unlikely.

Well, I doubt his model (or year, rather) has airbags in the seat bolsters, but better safe than sorry. If there are any yellow wiring harnesses under your seat (connected to the seat itself) then you should disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes (to let the system discharge) before removing the seats or disconnecting any harnesses.
