There is a DIY in the FAQ section of this forum that I made and it lists the tools needed. Just follow that and use suede instead of the vinyl I purchased.

The A pillars are on either side of the front windscreen, the B pillars are between the front and back doors, and the C pillars are on either side of the rear windscreen.

OK I am going to do my 2006 FX35. One question maybe someone will know off the top of their head.

Does the steering wheel need to be removed?

NO. The steering wheel itself does not need to be removed. However, it must be all the way out and all the way down to remove the trim that surrounds the speedo cluster. After removing the little wood / aluminum trim pieces near the cluster, you will see where to pull and remove the speedo trim. The actual speedo cluster does not have to be removed at all unless you are actually removing the entire dash. If you want to re-cover the dash, you need only remove the wood trim, the A-pilars, the defrost vent covers, etc. In the FSM, you can see the diagram for the instrument panel. The actual dash is quite huge and requires everything from the floor up just to get it out. Definitely NOT an easy chore. You would assume the top portion of the dash is just that - the top portion. But the top portion also contains the center stack area so even the console must be removed to get to the all the connect points. I won't even mention all the wiring harnesses, etc that also must be disconnected.
