I downloaded the supplement for the vert in an attempt to figure out how to remove the entire top assy/frame.
I have a parts car that has a top that is in damn good condition and my project car has a HORRID top. I was wanting to just switch them for the time being.

What do i need to look for and does the top need to be up to have access for this??
Im planning on pulling the good one on saturday if the weather is nice. There shouldnt be any more than a dozen or so bolts to remove right?

Thanks guys.

The book is pretty straightforward in it's step by step on how to pull the frame out. If you just study it, you should have no problems.

You will need to move the top to a partially up position, so you'll have to disengage the fluid pump in the trunk (turn the valve on the line to close it off), and you can manually move the top to where you need it. I would recommend going over my top replacement DIY as I know you'll have to pull some parts of the cloth assembly, if not the whole cloth top.

Im wanting to pull the frame out with the top still attached to it. And just switch the frame assy. Is this something worthwhile...or would it only cause problems?
