Any tips, or pointers from anyone who has removed there KA24DE

like a bolt that was incredibly hard to get off or something?

i guess im doing it myself to the bad engine, wether i have supervision or not

anyone have a link to a step by step or something

i know its prolly a lot easier than im imagining, just very tedious

where do i start :-X

typically it's the bolt at the bottom of the motor mount that seems to be a pain in the butt. Was a pain in the first swap I did, pain in the clip for my own motor, and yeah...seems pretty consistant. Just

1. drain mt, motor oil, coolant, and power steering fluid.2. undo driveshaft, and pull shifter3. undo motor mount nuts and transmission cross member with the nuts holding the cross member to the transmission mount4. undo the hoses, remember which fuel hose goes where, the heater hoses, radiator hoses, ps hoses, engine harness, and any little grounding straps that might be on anything5. slap the chains on the engine/transmission and pull the turd out

i know its a big duh, but make sure you have rented a engine crane (whatever you call it). you might hurt yourself the other way...

Nah, I was gonna ask Lou Ferrigno if he'd come over and lift it for me.

lol dude man almost got a hernia when my buddy let go of the transmission when we were doing his clutch job and we were under there bracing the end with our legs, holding the bell housing and he let go. omg worst feeling ever.
