Hi, I'm new to the board. I've got a 1990 240sx with the ka24e engine, and it's originally from California. I heard that removing the emissions equipment will get me some more power. I don't have to pass emissions tech or anything. So far I know of removing the following:

AIV valveevaporator canisterEGR valve

Is there anything else that I'm missing? Especially on a california car (or do the even have extra emissions stuff)?

Thanks,Steve

Those are the main items. You won't really see a power gain, but the engine will breath a lot cleaner air so it's worth it.
