I need to get my ECU out of my car to hook up my a/c wire to the harness...i should have known I wouldn't live in Fl long without a/c. Logic on removing it isn't prevailing, so any help would be appreciated.

it's behind the kickpanel on the passenger side. take it out, it's only got like 2 screws holding it in. I think you have to take the door runner off to remove it.

anyway, then the ecu is held in with 2 bolts, one on top and one on bottom.

And don't forget: remove negative batt. cable before removal or install. I've taken it out without doing that and been fine, but better safe than sorry.

Crispy fried ECU would be bad...definitely remember to disconnect the negative battery cable.
