Yeh I feel like a bit of a dunce asking this but neither my father or I can figure it out.
We are swapping interiors over in a Pathfinder R50 and for the life of us cant get the drivers foot rest out to remove the carpet. Any advice would be very much appreciated!!
Cheers
Kim

Hi Kim - Do you have a pic? Do you mean the "dead pedal" to the left of the brake?

Yep that's the one. My Dad has just now come up and told me the panel on the front of it comes off to reveal bolts.

Mind you he discovered that by hacking one up in the wrecking car as neither of us could see that there was a panel to pull off. :facepalm2

Lol. Gotta laugh... live and learn hey. :chuckle:

Hahaha, Dad sounds like a smart guy. ;)

Hope you (and he) will stick around. Loads of great R50 expertise here.

Hi all. I have a pathfinder R50 2001 and the dead pedal to the left of the foot brake (auto model) is loose. I can almost lift it but can’t see how to detach it and tighten it. Are there any diagrams or photos to show me how to do this?
Thanks for your help.
Brett

Hey Brett - See above. Seems Kim's Dad figured it out. :)
