A car hit my drivers side view mirror and nocked off the outer shell. The plastic on the shell as well as the main case cracked. I want to remove the mirror so that I can replace the plastic piece that broke. Does anyone know of a website (or have a repair manual, instructions or just a "parts blow up") that might help?

Thanks,

John

Welcome to NICO!

Which model year is your M? I have a parts diagram of the 2003 M45 that might be useful to look at, if that is your model. Let me know and I will search for it.

Also, http://www.everythinginfiniti.com often has detailed parts diagrams on their site - I do not know for sure if all models of M are there, but it is worth looking.

I have a 2006 M35x (fogot to put year earlier). I tried everythinginfiniti but it did not give enough detail to show how to remove. Any other sources?

That link didn't work (was for selling a Nissan). Can you repost?

Thanks,

Hmmm ... let's see if these pages from the Service Manual get you pointed in the right direction (click the images for larger pictures):
