Removing driver seat belt cover

Is there any trick to removing the plastic cover for the driver seat belt assembly on the pillar of an 02 Q45? The webbing spool squeals when the belt extends and I just need to oil/grease it.

I assume the cover just pops off, then pops back on. Is that correct? Thanks.

Check out your car's factory service manual for a diagram and/or removal instructions. www.infinitiservicemanual.com

It's also worth checking in to the seatbelt warranty on the car. On the older Q45 they had a lifetime/unlimited mileage warranty - but I think that was discontinued at some point... I'm just not sure when.
