Hello, NICO members.

I'm a newbie who has just purchased a 96 Q a week ago on a relatively good deal. Overall, it's in a OK condition but I want to replace some interior trims that are not in the best shape in could be in..

For starters, I would like to pull out the driver side door trim and do some R/R on the trim itself and some switches.. Is it a straight-forward procedure that requires only some brute force and a screwdriver or does it require some tricks to pull it out clean and unhurt (I don't want to damage the trim any more than it already is...)?

Thanks for reading.

You mean the interior skin or the exterior trim?

Start by sliding the elbow rest back towards the rea of the car.

Be very careful when removing the clips that hold the panel to the door.

Get the FSM and TSB.
