removing clearcoat question

My Infiniti labeled plastic wheel center covers on my'96Q are stained and I want to remove all the clearcoat to polish them.BrassO seems to work a bit, but not much. Anything more potent?

Is this the turbine wheels?

Might try the 3M automotive adhesive remover.
